Kimberly Perez
Gifted/STEM Teacher



Kim Perez earned her B.S. in Elementary Education at Florida State University and has taught students Kindergarten through 5th grade for over 25 years, including Title I schools. She currently uses her knowledge of the standards to challenge students in STEM. She has worked with after school STEM clubs over 10 years and enjoys bringing robotics to her students in a real world problem solving manner. She enjoys challenging her students to become science literate and real world problem solvers of the future. Mrs. Perez is a NBPTS certified teacher who has worked many years facilitating hands-on workshops in science, technology, STEM and gifted endorsement programs sharing techniques and lessons with other teachers to incorporate into their own classrooms in the Big Bend area of Florida.
