Jerry Hirsch is a veteran business journalist who is editor and vice president of content of Trucks.com, a trucking news and analysis website. Prior to joining Trucks.com in January 2015, Hirsch was nationally known as the automotive writer for the Los Angeles Times. Before his 15-year tenure at the L.A. Times, Hirsch was the deputy business editor at the Orange County Register. He holds a master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University and was awarded both the Knight Science Journalism Fellowship at MIT in 2009 and the German Marshall Fund of the U.S. Journalism Fellowship in 2005.
