Neil Abt joined Fleet Owner Magazine, a publication of Penton Media, as senior editor in April 2017. He has more than 20 years of reporting experience, including 15 years covering the trucking industry, and a leadership role as editorial director of transport topics. A graduate of American University in Washington, D.C., he began his career covering sports for The Washington Post, followed by a position in the newsroom of America Online. He is based in Portland, Oregon.
