Emily Nordee-Rogers has a diverse food background and credited as a resource that food professionals can trust to provide a unique approach to hospitality industry insights. She is a true “connector” and bridges the gaps between foodservice and consumer dining demands. Emily brings over 15 years of experience in the food, beverage and hospitality specializing in trend research, menu innovation and development, foodservice marketing communications, and large scale event activations. She has been recognized for her leadership within many successful national marketing campaigns including: Little Caesars Pizza Veteran’s Program, Wines from Spain “Great Match: Wine & Tapas, Campari USA: “Year of the Negroni”, and California Walnuts: Re-Think Walnuts. She continues to bring added value to her clients and colleagues with her dedication and expertise in the foodservice space. Her career has spanned the coasts from California to NYC and back! Emily earned her degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in Nutritional Science and Culinary Management, and a degree in Meeting and Event Planning from Cal State Dominguez Hills. She is published food and beverage journalist, blogger and an operator of her very own Speakeasy Supper Club and catering company, called KCHEN Project. Emily is currently the Director of Food Public Relations & Communications at EH+Y, Inc. in Santa Barbara, CA, where she spearheads foodservice marketing efforts for major commodity boards like California Walnuts, Avocados from Peru, Idaho Potato Commission, as well as CPG clients like Lamb Weston, and Grown In Idaho.
