Philip Barbie is the Director of Merchandise for Busch Gardens in Williamsburg Virginia, overseeing all retail, games, photo, partners and service operations for the park. He began his career with Seaworld Parks and Entertainment 19 years ago at Busch Gardens Williamsburg where he held numerous supervisor positions in the games department while working his way through college at Virginia Tech where he received his Bachelors of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management. After graduating, Philip relocated to Orlando Florida where he managed the Games Operations for SeaWorld's Florida park. In 2008, Philip returned to Virginia to manage the games operation at Busch Gardens prior to being promoted to his current position in 2012. Philip has been a member of the IAAPA Merchandise and Games Committee since 2013.
