For the past 15 months, Sam has held the position of CEO for Port Madison Enterprises, an agency of the Suquamish Tribe where his responsibilities encompass economic development and enterprise diversification, along with existing gaming, retail, hospitality, golf and property management operations. The previous 7 years, he oversaw resort operations at Tulalip Resort Casino and led long term development & master planning processes at the Tulalip Gaming Organization. He has over 30 years of hospitality experience include work in 25 states & 4 countries for Marriott, IHG, and independent luxury & select service owners; 9 new properties, 13 full renovations, and the opening, renovation, or rebrand of 50+ related outlets, venues, & amenities. In addition, he has over 15 years of gaming experience include executive positions with 3 Washington State Tribes & consultancy for 12 other Western Tribes.
