In 1994, Jeff earned the Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) designation in the machinery and equipment appraisal specialty from ASA. In 2009, Jeff gained the FRICS designation from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). Jeff is an instructor for many of ASFMRA’s courses and is a National USPAP instructor. Jeff is a past chairman of the ASFMRA Appraisal Education Committee and chaired the ARA Accreditation Committee. When Jeff was the ARA Accrediting Chairman, over one hundred ARA candidates were shepherded through the accreditation process in 2007 and 2008. Jeff served as the 2011/12 National ASFMRA President. Jeff is nationally regarded as an expert in the appraisal of grain elevators, seed processing plants, feed mills and fertilizer/agronomy facility appraisals. Jeff has several “Gen Y” appraisers working with him, and he considers them the future of the profession.
