Henrik Tordrup is a Partner at Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) with extensive experience within the energy sector, M&A, project development and deal origination. He is responsible for CIP’s investment strategy in the US, as well as Onshore Wind and Solar globally. Mr. Tordrup has been responsible for numerous CIP projects across all asset classes including but not limited to Solar, Offshore Wind, Onshore Wind, Transmission and Energy Storage. Mr. Tordrup led CIP’s efforts in entering the US renewable market and creating a development pipeline of >3 GW. Under this leadership, CIP has raised approximately USD ~1bn. Mr. Tordrup was a member of the Vineyard Wind bid strategy team and has now taken a leading role in the project by helping to bring it to its Financial Close. Prior to joining CIP, Mr. Tordrup was responsible for DONG Energy Wind Power’s structured finance department, which included continuous development and execution of DONG Energy’s partnership model with institutional investors. During his time in DONG Energy, Mr. Tordrup worked with the Senior Partners of CIP. Mr. Tordrup started his career in A.P. Møller-Mærsk as a Finance Trainee and holds a Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School.
