Brad Stromdahl
Head Baseball Coach
Georgia Gwinnett College

The first-ever head coach of the Georgia Gwinnett College baseball program, Brad Stromdahl has wasted little time building the Grizzlies into a national contender. Stromdahl has amassed a 280-91 (.755) record over the team’s first six seasons in his first stint as a collegiate head coach. The Grizzlies have posted four 50-plus-win seasons. In Stromdahl’s time, the Grizzlies have already reached an Avista-NAIA Baseball World Series twice, claimed a No. 1 ranking in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) coaches’ poll, captured an Association of Independent Institutions (A.I.I.) championship twice and boasted an NAIA Player of the Year. Additionally, seven Grizzlies have already been drafted by Major League Baseball organizations. Stromdahl earned A.I.I. Coach of the Year honors during the 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2018 seasons. The 2018 season saw the Grizzlies make their second trip to the Avista-NAIA World Series when it captured the Lawrenceville Opening Round. GGC defeated Point University (Ga.) in the championship game. In Lewiston, Idaho the team picked up victories against Oklahoma City University and Faulkner University to reach the semifinal round. It marked the deepest postseason run in program history and a 50-12 record on the year.
