Head Coach Tim Huber took the Augustana baseball program to unprecedented heights in 2018, winning the programs first-ever baseball national championship. Last season, the Vikings won a program-best 52 games, including going 12-1 in the postseason and a perfect 4-0 at the DII College World Series. Huber enters his eleventh season as skipper of the Vikings in 2019. Over his 10 years at Augie, Huber owns a career record of 365-189 (.659), making him the winningest-coach in Augustana history, and has a 232-100 mark in Northern Sun Conference play. Huber and his staff have had six players drafted into Major league baseball organizations. Huber came to Augustana after four successful years as the head coach at Dakota County Technical College in Rosemount, Minnesota. Prior to DCTC, Huber spent two seasons as an assistant coach at Southwest Minnesota State.
