Kainoa Correa was hired as a minor league infield coach prior to Spring Training last season. Correa joined the Indians after four years as an assistant coach at the University of Northern Colorado. In his role with the Indians, Correa instructs the organization’s youngest and newest infielders, bouncing between minor league teams and working with multiple rosters. Prior to UNC, Correa also spent three years at NCAA Div. III Puget Sound. In 7 seasons of coaching college baseball, Kai's defenses set the program record for fielding percentage at both of the institutions he has worked. In addition to his coaching duties, Correa puts on Friday Fielders Infield Camps.
