Kathy Sulentic currently serves as an associate director of enforcement at the NCAA, chair of the enforcement staff's academic integrity unit and an adjunct professor of Kinesiology at the University of Indianapolis. Kathy joined the NCAA staff in October 2010, and her primary responsibilities include conducting NCAA investigations, processing violations of NCAA legislation, and providing subject matter expertise on NCAA Division I and II Bylaw 14 and academic misconduct. At the University of Indianapolis, Kathy co-teaches a class on risk management and sport. Prior to joining the NCAA, Kathy worked at both the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the University of Colorado-Boulder in athletic academic advising. While at Nebraska, she worked with the sports of football, men's basketball, men's and women's track and field and she served as Dr. Tom Osborne’s teaching assistant for the courses Coaching Football and Sport and the American University. At Colorado she worked with the sports of football, women's basketball and men's and women's ski as well as in the areas of initial and continuing NCAA academic eligibility. After graduating from law school, Kathy worked as an associate in the Boston office of Greenberg Traurig, LLP. She has a BA from the University of Northern Iowa, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude, an MA from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, a JD from Roger Williams University School of Law where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and was a member of law review. During the 2015 summer, Kathy was an instructor at New Hampshire School of Law for the course NCAA Division I Legislation and compliance. She was the chair of the advisory board for the master’s degree in Intercollegiate Athletic Administration (MAIAA) at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and is a current member of the Roger Williams School of Law Board of Directors.
