Mark Hutchinson, VP Gas & Power, APAC, at Wood Mackenzie, has over 30 years of energy sector experience, including 23 years consulting and research experience in Asia. He has expertise in strategic advice, finance, M&A, contract negotiations and due diligence in the power, oil, gas and coal sectors. Mark started out in a power utility in the USA and moved to Asia in 1994. He has worked for various consultancies in Asia, including 11 years with IHS CERA where at various times he ran APAC Upstream Consulting, APAC and MENA Gas & Power Research & Consulting, and Global Power Consulting. Mark is a trained economist with a masters in public policy from Harvard University in energy regulation
