Roger Green previously. was Director of Environmental, Health and Safety for thyssenkrupp North America. In this capacity he is responsible for regional coordination of health, safety and environmental matters, which includes the United States, Canada and Mexico. He promotes and supports programs to ensure continuous compliance with US, Mexico and Canadian regulations. A major focus of his responsibilities includes the management and execution of Internal Compliance Auditing for thyssenkrupp Business Units in North America. Roger is a liaison between Health & Safety and Environmental colleagues at thyssenKrupp AG, Corporate Offices, in Essen Germany. He also provides technical support for all tkNA Business Areas within the North American region. Roger began his career with the Budd Company in Philadelphia, PA as a Senior Safety Engineer and later served as Safety Manager. He was promoted to the Corporate Office for The Budd Company as their Corporate Industrial Hygiene Manager and later assumed responsibility for Corporate Health and Safety for North America. Before accepting his current position, he held positions as Director of Environmental, Health & Safety for thyssenkrupp, USA located in Troy Michigan and was the North America Safety Manager for thyssenkrupp Technologies, reporting to the Technology Group in Germany and assigned to Waupaca Foundry of Wisconsin. Roger has over 40 years of experience as a safety professional and has published safety articles, tough health and safety subjects, such as Ergonomics, Accident Investigation, Electrical Safety and others and has developed health and safety programs. Roger is a graduate of Temple University’s Fox School of Management with a focus in Occupational Health and Safety. His graduate work was in the field of Industrial Hygiene.
