Joe is currently supporting the power delivery operations of 200 renewable generating stations, as well as the expansion plans of the renewable fleet, for the largest renewable generator in the US. He is responsible for the reliable transmission of power from the generator terminals to the end user at voltages ranging from 600 v. to 500kV. Joe received his undergrad degree at Southern Illinois University, and his Master’s Degree from University of South Florida. He has worked for NextEra Energy for over 39 years and has experience with protection and control, substation, and transmission engineering and operations. He has also had roles on the reliability team, the finance team, and the equipment teams, all in Power Delivery. Joe is married and lives in Florida where he spends as much time on his boat as possible.
