Yevgen Shcheblynsky received his Bachelors of Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Systems from the University of Victoria. Currently Yevgen is the EIT – SCADA Design Engineer and previously the EIT - OT Systems engineer at AltaLink, a Transmission Facility Operator in Alberta. As the OT systems engineer Yevgen has been involved in multiple IT/OT convergence initiatives for securing Alberta’s power grid through NERC CIP, ISO27002/27019 and CIS Critical Security Controls. Yevgen is registered as an Engineer-In-Training (EIT) with APEGA in the province of Alberta, Canada.
