Guy Payne is a Regional Director with Invenergy in the Texas Region. He has over 12 years of experience with Invenergy and over 16 years of experience in the wind industry. Guy helped Invenergy take its first steps into self-operations when he led and formed the O&M team at Camp Springs. He currently has responsibility for the operations and maintenance of 6 wind facilities with approximately 78 employees and over 1100 megawatts. Before getting involved with the wind industry, Guy proudly served 10 years as a supervisor for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, where he supervised and instructed security and non-security employees in the care and custody of offenders. Guy is a father of 4 kids and enjoys hunting, fishing and camping with his family.
