Chris Deere is the CEO of Rainbow’s End Theme Park in Auckland, New Zealand. Chris has been involved in the industry over a cumulative period of 20 years including the last 12 in succession. Prior to that Chris spent 7 years in the New Zealand Police Force where he worked in a variety of positions and approximately 3 years travelling and working through Europe, America and Southern Africa. Chris has worked his way up in the industry and has held his current position as CEO for the past 7 years. He is also involved in a number of tourism related advisory groups. Away from work, Chris is married with two sons, Connor age 12 and Regan age 9. Chris is an avid rugby fan, he enjoys taking his boat out fishing on the beautiful Auckland harbour or spending time with his family at Hahei Beach, one of the most picturesque beaches in the world.
