Robert (Bob) Eaton is the Managing Member of Day and Night Solar, LLC. Bob began his career after receiving his diploma in architectural design and drafting in 1982. He entered the business world as a draftsman detailer for custom architectural woodworking company. After spending eight years in the construction industry, where he advanced from draftsman to estimator to regional sale manager to vice president of marketing, he left the industry and moved into financial services. Bob has over 30 years’ experience in financial services; to include insurance and investments; with extensive knowledge in implementing and managing numerous national corporate accounts. Presently, Bob’s focus is on renewable energy and more specifically the photovoltaics sector. In this capacity, he advises and consults companies nationwide on emerging solar technologies; including receiving a US Patent for the design of the "Sun Commander" (a portable photovoltaics powered micro grid). Bob also lectures to utility providers, architectural and engineering firms, home builders and construction companies, business chambers & trade associations, along with developing new integrated photovoltaics solutions for current national clients. In addition, Bob sits on the Madison/St. Clair County Regional Export Commission and serves with the Collinsville Triad CEO program as a mentor. Nationally, Bob is one of 12 advisory board members for the NECA Premier Partner organization. The purpose of the NECA Premier Partners Council is to drive shared value through meaningful collaboration & engagement on issues that will matter most to NECA, their members, their Chapters, stakeholders, and the industry. Bob sits on the Sun Train Advisory Board, a revolutionary model to utilize existing railroad Infrastructure to store and deliver Renewable and sustainable energy.
