Dr. Wang holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering and a Master in Economics. She has served as the Subject Matter Expert for the key market developments at Mid-continent ISO (MISO), including Extended LMP, Emergency Energy and Demand Response Pricing, Ramp Capability Product, Enhance Combined Cycle Modeling, etc. and is now focusing on the market integration of Distributed Energy Resource and the interaction between transmission system and distribution network. She plays a substantial role in the Tariff filing of these market developments with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and in transforming these design concepts to solution implementation. She also serves as an expert for MISO to provide invited comments on FERC Price Formation proceedings. Dr. Wang has published over 20 journal articles, conference proceedings or invited talks on occasions including IEEE Transactions on Power System, Smart Grid, Power and Energy Magazine, INFORMS, FERC Technical Conference etc.
