Joe is a Business Development Engineer responsible for leading solution design and development, structured finance analysis, and execution of customized microgrid, energy storage, and distributed generation projects for PowerSecure. PowerSecure is an industry leading microgrid supplier through their EPC+ approach, with a fleet of ~2GW of systems across the country. Joe has spent three years at PowerSecure where he previously helped build the Applications Engineering team. Joe has developed multiple large microgrid programs accounting for over 100 MW of distributed generation throughout the United States. In addition, Joe has developed and led multiple state-of-the-art microgrid projects for PowerSecure. Prior to joining PowerSecure, Joe was an engineering consultant in the nuclear power industry leading engineering design projects. Joe holds a BSME from the Georgia Institute of Technology in addition to minoring in Energy Systems.
