Bill Becker manages Woodward’s Power Management and Protection Sales and Support team, based in Loveland Colorado. His team supports generator set packagers and switchgear builders in North America with Woodward's full line of control and protection products. Bill’s passion is the de-centralization and de-carbonization of our energy mix as we integrate conventional, renewable energy, storage, and flexible loads at the edge of the grid. Bill (re-)joined Woodward in 2018 after 8 years with Spirae, a small innovative company focused on microgrids, distributed energy resources (DER), integration of renewable energy, and DERMS solutions for utility as well as commercial and industrial customers. Bill began his career at Woodward in application engineering and management before migrating to strategic product line management and sales roles focused on industrial gas turbine manufacturers. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Colorado State University.
