Ashley J. Blount is an Assistant Professor at the University of Nebraska Omaha. She is a Nationally Certified Counselor who has experience working with diverse adolescents and adults in intensive in-patient, partial, and out-patient agencies. Dr. Blount's research interests include: Wellness Counseling, Counseling Athletes and Former Athletes, and Counselor Education and Supervision. She serves as an Editorial Board member for the Counseling and Values Journal, is on the ACA Graduate Student Committee, and is active in a number of local, state, and national organizations.
