Angie Benfield is the Communications Lead for Savannah River Nuclear Solutions’ (SRNS) division of Environmental, Safety, Security and Health. She is responsible for the successful development, implementation and contractor integration of the SRS employee-based safety campaign. Her work focuses on workforce unification, behavior modification and safety leadership. Since its inception, the “Safety Begins with Me” campaign has achieved a steep decline in employee injuries, sustaining a “World Class” safety rating.
