Amy Myrdal MillerAmy Myrdal Miller is an award-winning dietitian, farmer’s daughter, public speaker, published author, and president of Farmer’s Daughter® Consulting, an agriculture, food, and culinary communications firm. During her 20-year career, Amy has focused much of her work on increasing produce consumption, first at Dole Food Company — where she won a PBH Diamond Crystal Award — and most recently at The Culinary Institute of America — where she won a California Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Excellence in Research Award for her consumer sensory studies on the meat-mushroom blend. Amy is frequently interviewed for trade and consumer publications on foodservice and culinary trends. She is currently writing a monthly column for Produce Business magazine focused on communication and culinary strategies for increasing fruit and vegetable intake. She earned her BS in dietetics from the University of California, Davis, and her MS in nutrition communication from Tufts University Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy. A farmer’s daughter from North Dakota, today Amy and her husband Scott Miller live in Carmichael, California.
