Damon Dougherty is an Account Executive with Schneider Electric responsible for the Digital Grid software solutions in North America. He has over 20 years of experience in the software industry, supporting municipal, investor-owned, and cooperative utility enterprise needs. He has in-depth experience with automated metering infrastructure (AMI), outage management systems (OMS), smart grid solutions (SG), field force management (FFA & MWM), geographic information systems (GIS), energy management systems (EMS/SCADA), Distribution Management Systems (DMS), Distributed Energy Resources (DER), and computer aided design (CAD). Mr. Dougherty has held several senior positions in sales, marketing, consulting, and product management at several Fortune 500 companies. He received both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from Texas A&M University. Prior to joining GE, Mr. Dougherty was a principal industry manager for AT&T’s smart grid solutions group where he developed and managed cellular-based technology business development activities for the electric utility industry. He supported technology discussions centered on cellular-enabled AMI, SCADA, DR, Automation and Sensing, and mobility applications. Mr. Dougherty has also held several senior positions in marketing, sales, consulting, and product management with Bentley Systems and Intergraph Corporation. He received both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from Texas A&M University.
