Brian Bowen is Director of Market and Partnerships at FirstFuel Software. He works with FirstFuel’s technology and consulting partners to integrate data analytics into utility business customer service organizations. Brian previously managed regulatory affairs for FirstFuel in the central United States, where he advised multiple public utilities commissions on energy efficiency program design and served as a panelist in several grid modernization and policy forums, as well as the Department of Energy's Quadrennial Energy Review. Prior to joining FirstFuel, Brian worked in the demand response, smart home, NGO, and community solar sectors. He earned his Master's in Environmental Policy and Planning at MIT and holds a Bachelor’s from Yale University. Brian is a Switzer Environmental Fellow and was named one of Midwest Energy News’ “40 Under 40” in 2016. He lives in Chicago.
