Heiko Bleher




Bleher, the third generation of a family of aquarium plants and ornamental fish breeders, inherited the love for nature, discoveries and education of the worldwide fresh water biodiversity. He has written over 1,000 articles, 5 books and presented seminars worldwide on his many expeditions. His publications include the DISCUSBOOK series, Bleher’s Discus, Bleher’s Biotopes, the magazine Nutrafin Aquatic News and the quarterly scientific journal International Journal of Ichthyology featuring his nearly 1,000 expeditions.
