Tom Karst, with The Packer since 1984, has been editor in chief since July of 2018. Before his promotion to editor, Tom served as the national editor covering key issues across the entire produce spectrum, creating the Fresh Talk blog,founding the popular LinkedIn "Fresh Produce Industry Discussion Group" and speaking at many industry events. He is a graduate of Kansas State University.
