Ben started with Burns & McDonnell in 2008 as an assistant mechanical engineer in the Energy Global Practice. Through the next 5 years, he had project roles that included detailed design, contract administration, and site field engineer. This experience included 2 years on-site as a field engineer for a combined cycle repower project and 1 year supporting an advanced class 3x1 combined cycle detailed design. In 2013, he assumed the duties of business development manager focused on customer interface for engineering, consulting, environmental, and construction services for the power generation market. Currently, he supports electric utility, municipal, cooperative, and IPP customers across the Midwest and Southeast.
