Jennifer E. Beebe is an Assistant Professor at Niagara University. In addition to being a Counselor Educator, she is a National Certified Counselor as well as a Certified K-12 Professional School Counselor in New York and Hawaii. Jenifer has worked in multiple settings such as schools, agencies, clinics, and a college counseling center. As a result, she has provided individual and group counseling to individuals across the lifespan. Her line of research has been focused on bullying, cyber bullying, and counselor development and supervision. One of her recent publications examines rape myth acceptance among counselors-in-training. Jennifer has partnered with local schools and communities to increase awareness, education, and intervention efforts to reduce bullying among students. She has presented at national, regional, and state conferences on bullying, cyber bullying, vicarious trauma, and grief and loss. She also serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Counselor Preparation and Supervision.
