Jim Grabowski

Jim Grabowski was born and raised on the south side of Chicago and was introduced to the produce business at an early age. As the son of parents who owned and operated a neighborhood grocery store, he spent many off-school days and summer vacation days walking the platform of the old South Water Street Terminal Market in Chicago. It was then at this early age that he decided that there had to be a better way to earn a living. Fast forward a few years, and after graduating from college, he held jobs in the electronic insulation, insurance and adult beverage industries. His return to the produce industry came courtesy of the Florida Department of Agriculture as a regional marketing representative for an individual strawberry grower/shipper. Currently, he holds the position of marketing for Well Pict Berries, Watsonville, Calif.
