Dimitri Tavernarakis is a mechanical engineer with more than 14 years of professional experience in equipment and facility development, with an emphasis on food processing facilities and food safety compliance. From his role as the food safety lead engineer, he monitors the markets’ regulatory requirements and investigates customer expectations. This allows the best possible guidance to the organization’s engineering and development for equipment and facility solutions. He has been elected as vice chairman of the Sanitary Equipment and Facility Design PDG of the Food Protection Organization (USA).
