Dave joined the Wegmans family 33 years ago, and in 1999, Dave became the vice president of produce and floral operations. Dave is responsible for procurement, merchandising, design, fixturing, pricing and the Wegmans 170-acre organic farming operation. Dave serves as chairman of the board for the Center for Produce Safety. Dave was recently presented the Produce Marketing Association’s Bryan E. Silbermann Collaboration Award, being recognized as an individual for working with one or more people or organizations to realize mutually beneficial solutions to an industry issue.
