Amber Sciligo
Science Program Manager
The Organic Center


Amber Sciligo is the Organic Center's science project manager, where she leads the center’s reports compiling current science on critical issues affecting organic food and farming. Amber also heads the center’s grant writing program and supports communication of research to a wide variety of organic stakeholders. She received her undergraduate degree from UC Santa Cruz and her doctorate from Lincoln University. She was a postdoc at UC Berkeley, where she worked with organic farmers and was involved in the food industry.
