Nick Abel, Ed.D., NCC, is an Assistant Professor in the School Counseling program at Butler University.  Prior to entering counselor education, Nick worked as a professional school counselor at both the elementary and high school levels.  Nick's current teaching and research interests include equity/achievement gap, comprehensive school counseling, legal/ethical issues, and student motivations to seek help from a school counselor.
