Gary Kieft

Dillon Precision


Gary Kieft, known as “The Human Manual” on Youtube, has been working for Dillon Precision Products since 1984. Gary started reloading as a five-year-old, helping his dad load shotgun shells on a Pacific shotshell reloader. After passing the NRA Hunter Safety course at the age of ten, he bought his first rifle, a Savage 99 in 300 Savage. That Christmas, Santa gave Gary a Herters single stage press and some basic reloading equipment. A penchant for collecting military bolt action rifles forced him to broaden his reloading knowledge. Competing in a variety of action shooting sports and an interest in machine guns led to his purchase of a Dillon RL450. Then 6 months later, a help-wanted ad in the local newspaper brought Gary to Dillon Precision Products where he started his career assembling primer feed systems for the RL450. Soon he was assembling more complicated equipment, and demonstrating loaders to retail customers. Eventually Gary moved to the Sales and Customer Service Department where he also helped write the premier book on Cowboy Action Shooting. Today Gary is the Sales Manager and enjoys sharing his wealth of knowledge with reloading enthusiasts.
