Elizabeth Bambacus is an academic advisor at Virginia Commonwealth University, helping first-year students successfully transition to college. She is a second-year doctoral student at VCU, where she also earned her Bachelor of Arts in English with a double major in psychology, her Master of Education in Counselor Education with a concentration in College Student Development and Counseling, and her Post-Master Certificate in Professional Counseling. She is passionate about helping college students thrive during what is often one of the most stressful transitions they have experienced. Her particular interest areas include test anxiety and helping students make positive changes that influence academic success.
