John Eber managed the firm’s activities for tax motivated equity investments in energy assets. He directs a team of 20 professionals who originate, structure and execute investments, and advise other equity co-investors. Since 2003 John has been responsible for approximately $17 billion of renewable energy tax equity including financings for more than 17,000 MWs of wind power from 145 wind farms in 24 states; approximately 1,600 MW of solar power projects for utility scale, distributed generation and residential portfolios; and 17 geothermal projects totaling 300 MW. John has been a member of the Board of Directors of AWEA since 2007. John received a B.S. degree in economics from Bradley University, Peoria, Illinois and a MBA with a specialization in finance from DePaul University, Chicago, Illinois.
