Alan Preis is the Director of Technology at Shanghai American School, where his role involves overseeing and aligning instructional and operational technology in strategic support of learning and school operations. He has extensive experience in technology planning and the integration of technology to enhance and transform student learning and school operations. Alan has been involved in a number of collaborations with other schools and organizations around connected learning, design thinking, and instructional innovation. He has published work and made numerous presentations on the effective use of technology in schools at technology and educational conferences, both throughout the United States and abroad.
