John is Senior Research Scientist at the Center for Innovation through Visualization and Simulation where he develops simulation and visualization projects for industry and academia. He is also pursuing a PhD in Technology focusing on the application of virtual reality for workforce training. He has over 50 technical publications, is a fellow in the Society of Innovators of Northwest Indiana and is a two-time recipient of the Chanute Prize for Team Innovation. He has developed a variety of wind education resources with support from the National Science Foundation and the U.S. Department of Education.
