Anne M. McEntee is vice president of GE’s Renewable Energy Services business, a horizontal initiative that will work with the Onshore Wind, Offshore Wind and Hydropower businesses to provide more customer value and integrated solutions for the industry. Anne is a 15-year GE veteran who has worked and advanced through a series of increasingly responsible assignments in quality, manufacturing/operations and sourcing within GE’s energy divisions. Previously, Anne spent four years as President and CEO of GE’s Onshore Wind business, which achieved record orders in 2016 and an installed base of 57 GW of turbines in more than 35 countries around the world. Under her leadership, the business implemented a platform product management strategy and launched the Digital Wind Farm, a hardware and software solution that optimizes wind farm performance. Prior to her role in Renewable Energy, Anne was Vice President of Flow & Process Technologies, a division of GE Oil & Gas. In this role, Anne led the integration of Dresser, Inc. and the growth of the flow and process technologies division. She has also held the role of general manager of Power Services, where she led the division’s global growth and expansion into India, Middle East, Africa and Eastern Europe, and general manager for GE’s Quality organization where she was responsible for managing and deploying the energy division’s quality strategy. Anne was promoted to a Vice President and company officer of GE in March 2011. Anne holds a bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics, a master’s degree in mathematics, and a Ph.D. in applied mathematics, each from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY.
