Wally retired with 35 years of service. He was as a captain for the City of Fairfax (VA) and spent seven years serving as a volunteer firefighter prior to his employment. Wally has been a Virginia adjunct fire instructor since 1980.. Wally holds an associate’s degree from Northern Virginia Community College and a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Commonwealth University.
