Joe retired after 32 years. Joe also retired as a first sergeant with the United States Army Reserves. He has been a Virginia adjunct fire instructor since 1977 and taught fire science at the Germanna Community College. Joe holds an associate’s degree from Northern Virginia Community College and a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech.
