Matt Bennett is the owner of Bennett Consulting, a farmer in Windsor, Ill., and a former grain elevator owner. He combines an extensive grain marketing background with the producer perspective. Bennett Consulting specializes in formulating risk-management strategies for corn and soybean farmers and livestock producers, as well as offering commodity brokerage expertise. His analysis and commentary on the grain markets appears on various TV and radio stations across the Midwest, including “AgDay” and “U.S. Farm Report.” A graduate of the University of Illinois, Matt and his wife live on the family’s Illinois centennial farm. He also owns and operates a 3,000-acre corn and soybean farm while raising 60 head of registered Angus cows.
