John Amos is the Head of Siemens Wind Power Engineering Americas. He has worked in the power generation industry for almost 25 years including large turbine generator R&D and Design, fossil power plant application engineering and wind turbine engineering. He has actively participated in IEEE, IEC, ANSI and several other standards and codes organizations in various capacities over the past 20 years (mainly in working groups/committees, review boards, and voting member).
