James has worked as a paramedic for the last 8 years after leaving the armed forces. Whilst in the Armed Forced he served in Iraq, Afghanistan and Northern Ireland. After leaving the Army he worked in Afghanistan as a Close Protection Officer for the British Embassy in Kabul before training as a paramedic with the London Ambulance service, mainly working out of waterloo and Westminster. After completing his training he progressed to London’s central operations unit where he was trained in Major Incident and terrorist related threats. After leaving the London Ambulance James went abroad and worked in Oman and Qatar teaching and training members of the Special Armed Forces and the Private medical Team of the Sultan of Oman. On his return to the Uk James joined East Midlands Ambulance Service. There he continued working as a paramedic before moving to training school to teach new paramedics and technicians.
