Lynne Slate is a 4th grade teacher at Chester W. Taylor Elementary School in Pasco County, FL. She is finishing her fourth year of teaching in a Learner-Active, Technology-Infused Classroom, which is a student-centered, problem-based model for delivering instruction. Lynne previously taught 5th grade for four years. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from University of South Florida and a Master’s Degree in Reading from Saint Leo University.
