Mr. Torbin earned BS in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University in Boston, MA and an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, MA. He is a Registered Professional Engineer and a member of ASME. Mr. Torbin serves as a voting member of national codes and standards committees including the NFPA 54 Technical Committee, the ANSI LC-1 Technical Sub-Committee, and the NPGA TS&S Committee. He is the author/co-author of over 100 technical reports, journal articles and conference papers, including many on gas distribution research.
