Don Mikrut is Vice President of Sales and Product Management for North America. Mr. Mikrut oversees the strategic direction of our technology and sales for shop operators within the collision repair industry for Audatex, A Solera Company becoming an officially member of the Solera family August 1st, 2014.
Before that, he served as chief executive officer of Cars Collision Center, LLC from 2000 to 2011. Cars Collision was a $65 million multi state automotive collision repair group with 28 locations in 3 states. Recruited by the BP Capital Board to assume the role of CEO and devise an operational strategy and develop infrastructure after customer service, productivity, and quality issues (resulting from aggressive acquisition efforts) surfaced. Working with departmental leaders, created and implemented Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) with metrics and led integration of new acquisitions. This established scalability to fuel 46% CAGR and ultimately made Cars Collision Centers a takeover target and it was acquired by Boyd Group (Canada) in 2011.
